Solydent Dental Surgery is in operation since 1991 and offers patients a wide range of dental health facilities. The past years has seen a steady development of the surgery both in terms of technical equipment and the expertise of our team of dentists.
Since September 2008 one of the most modern special computed topography (CT) set has been used in our surgery.

Solydent, our dental surgery housing 10 chairs offers a comprehensive range of dental services from orthodontics to implantation. All our patients undergo a thorough oral examination and assessment of condition free of charge. After the assessment of diagnostic procedures we prepare a personal treatment plan, which includes the estimated costs in detail.
Images taken by our new dental CT set provides fast and accurate picture of a patient’s state. This is essential for concrete treatment plan prior to implantation; moreover it gives great help in the case of performing other dental surgical procedures. Serious illnesses such as cyst, tumour, inflammation or fracture can be diagnosed correctly.

The new three-dimensional images are undistorted and much more accurate than the traditional X-ray images. These images are lifelike 3D copies, which give more information on performing a treatment. For instance, the depth and thickness of the bone can be specified. Dentists are able to measure precisely, therefore the position and the size of the implant can be specified in great safety.
Not only the CT images make precise and planned procedures possible but also they mean less radiation dose for patients than conventional X-ray images. The total scanning time is 25 seconds and the actual developing and writing into a CD takes approximately 10 minutes.

The CT image is given to the patient and the dentist on a CD, which can be read and displayed later with the help of DICOM 3.0 compatible software.
Solydent follows a new approach in patients’ diagnostics. Today more and more patients would like to know what will happen to them. Patients are not satisfied with the fact that the dentist is aware of the used procedures. Solydent hopes that the diagnostics based on a CT image can give patients extensive information, which illustrates the treatment in detail.
